Firm History

Hackenberg, Beutler, Rasmussen & Feighner, LLC was founded in 1971 by David A. Hackenberg as a general practice of law in Hancock County. The increasing need for reliable legal services in Hancock County and surrounding counties created the need for additional attorneys to join the office over the years: Robert A. Beutler, Jr. (1972), Donald J. Rasmussen (1984), Alan D. Hackenberg (1994), Robert E. Feighner, Jr. (1999), Stephanie M. Bishop (2009), Elliott T. Werth (2014), Marshall Wm. Finelli (2017), Kalina D. Vajskop (2019), Megan Schumm (2025).  In April of 2023 the firm modified its name and is currently known as Hackenberg, Werth, & Vajskop LLC.
